Ilse Davison - Chief editor & Owner

 A little bit about me. Ever since a young age, I’ve loved the written word. Reading books and getting lost in other worlds was and is my passion and my joy, like oxygen to me. During college, attending ten years after I graduated high school-married and three children later-I loved my time on campus and in multiple English and Literary classes, immersing myself in the words of the past and present. I was a sponge, absorbing it all. 

Near the end of college, I dove full-fledged into novel writing, and shortly thereafter, I began freelance editing, a hobby turned into a lifetime career. Freelancing has brought me a myriad of projects, including working on TV pilots, movie scripts, comic books, novels, and novellas. 

I am passionate about art in many forms and love painting, mostly acrylics, drawing, pyrography, jewelry making, and whichever other art form strikes my fancy. Working with hands-on art mediums has been a bridge for my creativity, especially to help me during a creative rut or working through scenes, dry spells, etc. 

I began Literary TreasureLand as a passion to my love for the written word and all the characters and worlds we book lovers fall in love with.

This is my passion, what I love with all my heart, and here I want to share that with you.

The  joy I find in the written world began at a young age, and I have carried that into my career as a freelance editor and writer. With a great love for what I do, I am devoted to all manners of the crafting of words and the art of storytelling.
